When a product bottle specifies a ratio like 1:10, it means 1 part chemical concentrate combined with 10 parts water. That equals 11 total parts.

Always pour the required water into your spray bottle first before adding concentrated cleaners. Adding high-foaming soaps or alkaline degreasers first causes severe foaming that overflows the bottle neck before full volume is reached.
